Multi-Use Radio Service (MURS)

A power limit of 2 watts.  The FCC formally defines MURS as a private,
two-way, short-distance voice or data communications service for personal
or business activities of the general public.  Devices that use MURS
must be specially labeled and certified.  Five VHF channels are allotted
for shared use in the MURS.  These channels, designated by their center
frequencies in megahertz, are as follows:

151.820 MURS 1
151.880 MURS 2
151.940 MURS 3
154.570 Blue Dot
154.600 Green Dot
