I purchased my own Domain Name at GoDaddy.com. It cost me $31.43 for the Domain Registration, and $19.98 for Privacy and Protection, for 2 years.
The server is a Raspberry Pi with the Raspberry Pi OS lite and Apache 2 Web Server software loaded on an SD card.
Port Forwarding on my router was used to open ports 80 HTTP and 443 HTTPS to allow the outside world in.
In GoDaddy.com I forwarded my Domain Name to my public IP address.
